It is located in the Coastal Plain region of eastern North Carolina and lies just south of the Tar River from the county seat of Tarboro in Edgecombe County. Princeville was the site of NCLLP fieldwork from about 2003 - 2005 and is the subject of an NCLLP documentary. Collection contains 38 individual interviews/records.
