| Description: | jeju0080-05-07 contains a discussion of -no/-ko TAM markers and other, irrealis markers on the verb. The rest of this sessions are discussions of lexical items, with the aim of eliciting procedural narratives. jeju0080-02-04.wav, jeju0080-05-07.wav and jeju0080-08.wav are audio extracts of their .mp4 counterparts, whereas jeju0080-10.wav to jeju0080-12.wav are original, high-quality audio recordings that were recorded at the same time as the video recordings. The first minutes of the session were about lexical items I had learnt before. We went off very interesting tangents where HYJ1 explained a place name which is named after the pratice of killing and preparing pork there, and eating pork at big feasts in the past. We also talked about a few other words that are related with nature and body, and a curious interjection. She also explained a word that is related with ritually sprinkling or throwing food away as an offering to the spirits. | |
