| Description: | Martín Becerra Nazario habla de cómo curar a los niños de la diarrea y el empacho. Primero, se buscan unas ramitas del komo:so:t (Bidens reptans (L.) G. Don) junto con unas ramas del ti:ltikkwitakowit (Solanum diphyllum L.) y unas hojas del ti:ltikxa:lkowit (Piper amalago L.). Segundo, se fríen estas hierbas juntas con aceite. Tercero, se ponen las hierbas fritas sobre unas hojas de kowach (Ricinus communis L.) y se coloca en la barriga del enfermo como emplasto. Al mismo tiempo se sacude el enfermo para que se afloje su empacho. Así se cura. También este mismo emplasto se amarra sobre el estómago del niño para que duerma con el medicamento y no se le caiga. Con este remedio se empieza a desaparecer el emplasto porque cura a los enfermos que por empacho tiene diarrea. Agrega que si no hay hojas de kowach también se puede reemplazar con hojas de a:ko:kohxiwit (Critonia morifolia (Miller) R.M. King & H. Rob.). | |
