| Description: | Rogelio tells Alicia how the rubber boom affected the Siona. The Siona, Secoya, and Kichwa were enslaved by mestizos in order to harvest rubber. Rogelio tells about the work and the punishment if the rubber was not of the quality that the boss expected. The Siona that worked as rubber slaves arrived to the place where the Puerto Montúfar village used to be. This is how this path was created. The Palmaroja path was also created this same way. The main rubber exploiter was mr. Baquero. The recording was interrupted because it was starting to rain. | |
